Bosch 7 Inch Grinder Machine Price: GWS 2200-180 to GWS 30-180 B

A 7 inch grinder is a two-handed machine: every Bosch model here weighs 5.2 to 5.8 kg, and all of them have an M14 spindle. Fabricators buy it for cutting thick section and grinding heavy welds, where a 4 or 5 inch machine is too slow. Each 7 inch model has a 9 inch twin that costs ₹681 to ₹1,400 more, shown in the last column. Every size is on the angle grinder price list.

The five machines, one by one

• GWS 2200-180 — ₹8,884. 2,200 W, 6,500–8,500 rpm, 5.2 kg: the lightest and cheapest. Bosch say its patented motor runs cooler and gives longer carbon brush life. Before GST it is ₹7,529.
• GWS 24-180 — ₹11,467 (+₹2,583). 2,400 W at 8,500 rpm, 5.7 kg. Bosch claim up to twice the material removal rate, and it comes with a Vibration Control side handle and a rubberised rear grip. The extra money buys comfort and speed over a full shift.
• GWS 24-180 JZ — ₹12,235 (+₹768). Same 2,400 W and 8,500 rpm, 5.8 kg. Its product page does not say what the JZ version adds over the plain 24-180, so ask us before you pay the extra ₹768.
• GWS 27-180 PR — ₹16,956. No figures on the product page yet. Ask us for them.
• GWS 30-180 B — ₹25,746 (+₹14,279 over the 24-180). 2,800 W, the most powerful 7 inch Bosch we sell. It weighs 5.7 kg, the same as the 24-180, and has a rattail rear handle. Bosch list it for grinding metal and weld seams and for cutting rebar, metal and concrete.

7 inch or 9 inch?

Where Bosch give the figures, twins have the same rated power; the 9 inch disc runs at 6,500 rpm against up to 8,500 rpm on the 7 inch. A 9 inch disc cuts deeper. A 7 inch machine is easier to control, and for most fabrication work it is enough. Buy 9 inch only for deep cuts in thick stone or steel. The prices are on the 9 inch grinder price page. • Fabrication shops grinding welds on heavy section and cutting angle and channel.
• Civil contractors cutting rebar on site. For many straight cuts, a 14 inch chop saw is faster.

Do you sell 7 inch discs?

No. We sell the machines, not cutting or grinding discs. Use a 180 mm disc rated for at least 8,500 rpm.

Are these prices with GST?

How do I pay, and what does delivery cost?

Payment terms are agreed on the call for each order: full advance, part advance or payment on delivery. In Delhi NCR we send by Porter, often the same day. Outside NCR we send by transport. Delivery is free all over India on orders of ₹5,000 or more; below ₹5,000 it is ₹200, GST included. Or collect it from our counter in Badarpur.
