Bosch 5 Inch Grinder Machine Price: Every 125 mm GWS, 750 W to 2,000 W

Every 125 mm Bosch grinder we sell, cheapest first. A 5 inch disc cuts deeper and grinds a wider band than a 4 inch one, and every machine here has an M14 spindle, the same as the 7 and 9 inch grinders. What each step up buys

• GWS 700-125 — ₹4,083. The cheapest 125 mm Bosch: 750 W, 12,000 rpm, 1.69 kg. Bosch build it for tradespeople, contractors and metal workers. Enough for occasional cutting and light grinding.
• GWS 12-125 S — ₹6,474 (+₹2,391). 1,200 W at 2.2 kg. Bosch call it the lightest and slimmest grinder in its power class. 60% more rated power than the GWS 700-125 at almost the same price per watt.
• GWS 9-125 P — ₹7,025. Less power (900 W) than the 12-125 S, but a paddle switch: Bosch's PROtection switch cuts the power the moment you let go. Buy it where safety rules on site ask for a paddle switch.
• GWS 14-125 CI — ₹8,679 (+₹2,205 over the 12-125 S). 1,400 W, 820 W output, same 2.2 kg. For a fabrication shop that grinds welds for most of the day.
• GWS 18-125 L — ₹15,946 (+₹7,267). 1,800 W, 11,500 rpm, 2.5 kg. Bosch give it constant electronics, KickBack Control, a Vibration Control handle and a long slim handle for overhead work.
• GWS 20-125 SB — ₹16,751 (+₹805). The top of the range: a 2,000 W brushless motor, 1,400 W output, and variable speed from 2,800 to 10,500 rpm. Bosch write it for industrial metal workers who grind, mill and cut day and night.

Three models have no figures on their product pages yet: the GWS 900-125 S (₹6,152), the GWS 12-125 P (₹8,134; Bosch's own description gives 1,200 W) and the GWX 17-125 S (₹15,345). Ask us before you buy one, and we will read the box for you.

Rupees per watt

Up to 1,200 W you pay about ₹5.40 per watt: ₹5.44 for the GWS 700-125 and ₹5.39 for the GWS 12-125 S. The GWS 14-125 CI is ₹6.20 per watt. The 1,800 W and 2,000 W machines cost ₹8.40 to ₹8.90 per watt, because you are also paying for the electronics, the anti-kickback system and, on the 20-125 SB, the brushless motor. So the 12-125 S is the best value, and the top two are worth it only if the grinder runs all shift.

Battery 125 mm grinders

The GWX 180 LI is brushless and built mainly for cutting. Bosch rate it at the equivalent of 700 W corded. The GWS 18V-15 S is rated up to 1,500 W equivalent, and Bosch made it for heavy cutting and grinding on sites without power. Both prices are for the bare tool. With a starter kit of charger and two 2.0 Ah batteries (₹8,599) they cost ₹20,667 and ₹25,028. With two 4.0 Ah batteries (₹10,810) they cost ₹22,878 and ₹27,239. Can I cut marble or tile with a 5 inch grinder?

Do you sell 5 inch cutting and grinding discs?

No. We sell the machines, not discs or wheels. Use a disc whose marked rpm is at least the speed in the table.

Are these prices with GST?

How do I pay, and what does delivery cost?

Payment terms are agreed on the call for each order: full advance, part advance or payment on delivery. In Delhi NCR we send by Porter, often the same day. Outside NCR we send by transport. Delivery is free all over India on orders of ₹5,000 or more; below ₹5,000 it is ₹200, GST included. Or collect it from our counter in Badarpur.
