These are the tools that find what you cannot see: a cable or a rebar in a wall, a hot spot on a surface, a blockage inside a pipe, a live wire. Here are the eleven Bosch models we sell, with the figures from Bosch's data and the price you pay.

Before drilling a wall — wall scanners
The GMS 120-27 (₹6,639) finds iron and copper and live cables (to 50 mm) and wooden battens, and has a marking hole to mark the spot through. The D-tect 120 (₹19,218) uses Bosch radar, so it also finds water-filled plastic pipes and non-live cables, reads live cables to 60 mm, and works on drywall and concrete. The D-TECT 200 C (₹63,662) reads 200 mm into dry concrete, finds empty plastic pipes too, to ± 5 mm, and saves scans to micro-SD or USB-C. Then drill — see the drill for a concrete wall.
Temperature — gun or camera
The GIS 500 (₹4,418) reads one spot, -30 to +500 °C, accurate to ± 1.8 °C in the 0–100 °C range. A thermal camera shows the whole surface as a picture. Look at the figures: the GTC 450-13 (₹74,340) costs less than the GTC 400 C (₹78,202) and has the bigger sensor — 256 × 192 against 160 × 120 pixels — and the wider range. What the 400 C has that the 450-13 does not list is Wi-Fi. The GTC 600 C (₹92,942, bare tool) reads to +600 °C, has Wi-Fi and USB-C, and records a voice note with each image.
Inside pipes and ducts — inspection cameras
The GIC 4-23 C (₹20,815) and GIC 5-27 C (₹28,638) put an 8.3 mm camera on a 1.5 m cable, waterproof to IP67, and record pictures and video. Bosch makes them for HVAC, plumbers, electricians and car mechanics. The 5-27 C has the bigger, sharper screen (5 inch, 1280 × 720) and a micro-SD slot. Both are bare tools: they run on a Bosch 12V battery, sold separately — see the battery guide.
Electrical and damp

If you only need to avoid cables and rebar before drilling, the GMS 120-27. If you also need to find plastic water pipes, the D-tect 120 — the GMS does not list them among what it detects.
Can the GIS 500 temperature gun check a person's fever?
No. Bosch states it must not be used for human medical purposes. It measures surface temperatures of objects.
Which is the cheapest Bosch thermal camera?

What does “bare tool” mean?
