GSR is a drill driver: it drives screws and drills wood, metal and plastic. GSB is an impact drill driver: the same, plus a hammer mode for brick and masonry. “Solo” means the tool only — no battery, no charger. If you already own Bosch batteries of the same voltage, a solo tool is the cheaper way in.

12V or 18V
- 12V — GSR 120-LI, GSR 12V-30, GSR 12V-35 HX, GSB 120-LI, GSR 12V-15 FC. Light (0.57–0.9 kg without battery), 10 mm chuck, up to 30–35 Nm hard torque. For electricians, carpenters fitting hardware, furniture assembly and maintenance. The GSR 12V-30 and GSR 12V-35 HX have brushless motors; the 35 HX takes 1/4 inch hex bits directly and is the lightest, at 0.57 kg.
- 18V — GSB 183-Li, GSR/GSB 18V-65, GSR/GSB 185-LI, GSB 18V-150 C. 13 mm chuck and 50 to 100 Nm hard torque, for bigger screws, bigger holes and a full day on site. Which one to buy
First battery drill, light work: GSR 120-LI
₹3,779 with one battery, ₹5,898 with two. Two batteries mean one charges while the other works. It does not hammer, so it will not drill concrete.
Drilling brick too: GSB 183-Li
₹7,471 with one battery, ₹9,881 with two. 18V, 13 mm keyless chuck, hammer mode. For concrete and RCC a cordless drill is the wrong tool — use a rotary hammer, or a corded GSB from the drill machine price list.
Already own 18V batteries: a solo tool

A GSB (impact drill driver) drills brick and masonry. GSB 185-LI: Bosch rates it to 10 mm in masonry. For concrete and RCC use a rotary hammer.
Drill driver, impact driver or impact wrench?

Does a solo tool come with a battery?
No. Solo is the tool alone. Kits come with batteries; ask us what each kit holds.
