Bosch Tools for Electricians: The Kit and What It Costs
Drilling, wall slots, finding cables, testing and marking: the electrician's Bosch kit and its total.

Electrical work is mostly holes, slots, screws and checking: where the old cable runs, whether it is live, where the new line goes. These are the Bosch machines for each of those jobs, with the price of each and the total for the set.

Machine by machine
Drilling — GSB 600 for brick, GBH 220 for RCC
The GSB 600 (₹2,912) drills 13 mm in concrete and masonry and 10 mm in steel — enough for boxes and fixings in brick. Conduit and anchor holes in an RCC slab or beam need a rotary hammer: the GBH 220 (₹5,055, 720 W, 2 J) drills 4–22 mm in concrete with SDS plus bits, and Bosch gives it three modes — hammer drilling, drilling and chiselling. Bigger machines are on the rotary hammer price list; every corded drill is on the drill machine price list.
Screwdriving — GSR 120-LI
Switch boxes, DB covers, clamps and fittings: the 12V GSR 120-LI, ₹3,779 with one 2.0 Ah battery or ₹5,898 with two. Other battery drills are on the cordless drill price list.
Wall slots — GDC 141
We do not list a dedicated wall chaser. The GDC 141 marble cutter (1,450 W, 125 mm disc, 40 mm cutting depth, ₹4,702) is what Bosch itself names for “wall chasing in concrete material”: two parallel cuts, then the middle is chipped out with the GBH 220 in chisel mode. Before you drill — GMS 120-27 or D-tect 120
Both find what is in the wall before the bit does. The GMS 120-27 (₹6,639) detects live cables to 50 mm, non-magnetic metal like copper to 120 mm and iron to 100 mm. The D-tect 120 (₹19,218) uses Bosch radar: live cables to 60 mm, metal to 120 mm, and water-filled plastic pipes too.
Testing — GVD 1000-17
A non-contact voltage tester for up to 1,000 V AC, CAT IV 1000 V, IP67, with a torch and sound and vibration alerts (₹2,085). Bosch says it detects from 24 V and survives a 2 m drop.
Marking and measuring — GLL3X, GCL 15-12 XG, GLM 30-23
A line laser puts every switch and socket at one height across a room: GLL3X (₹6,298, ± 0.5 mm/m) or the GCL 15-12 XG (₹6,815) with green lines and two red plumb points for ceiling-to-floor runs. The GLM 30-23 (₹3,224) measures to 30 m for cable lengths. See which laser level and the laser level price list.
Inspection — GIC 4-23 C
An inspection camera with an 8.3 mm head on a 1.5 m cable and a 4.3 inch screen, for looking inside ducts, false ceilings and pipes; Bosch lists electricians among its users. ₹20,815 for the bare tool, without battery — ask us about the battery.

What does the full set cost?

Do you sell a wall chasing machine?
Not a dedicated one. The GDC 141 marble cutter is what Bosch names for wall chasing in concrete.
Do you sell bits, discs, wire or switches?
No. We sell Bosch machines and instruments, not drill bits, diamond discs or electrical material.
Do I need the radar scanner or is the GMS 120-27 enough?
For finding cables and metal in brick and plaster, the GMS 120-27. The D-tect 120 also finds water-filled plastic pipes and wooden studs, and works on drywall and concrete settings.
Are these prices with GST?
Yes, with a GST invoice. Before GST the GBH 220 is ₹4,284 and the GMS 120-27 is ₹5,626. An electrical contractor can read what a proper tool invoice must show.
What does delivery cost?
Delivery is charged at actual cost, on top of the price, and confirmed on the call before you pay.
